The Quality Specialist at Al Nas Hospital is responsible for supporting healthcare quality improvement initiatives, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with national and international accreditation standards. The role involves monitoring policies and procedures, analyzing clinical data, participating in investigations, and promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement across all hospital departments.
Provide staff training and guidance regarding quality initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Collect, analyze, and interpret clinical and operational data to identify trends and root causes impacting patient care.
Review and evaluate Occurrence Variance Reports (OVR) and identify potential violations.
Participate in OVR investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain accurate departmental records to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Monitor and follow up on staff compliance with GAHAR standards and hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct regular audits and daily supervision to ensure proper implementation of hospital policies.
Support the implementation of quality and patient safety principles across all hospital departments.
Participate actively in assigned hospital committees.
Prepare and circulate minutes of meetings, including Quality & Patient Safety Committee meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
Quality certification, training, or diploma is preferred.
1–3 years of experience in an accredited hospital is a must
Knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards such as GAHAR, or equivalent.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
