Dr. Elsayed Mohamed Elsayed Khedr is a Lecturer and Consultant of Pediatric Surgery at Cairo University and its Children’s Hospital. He earned his M.B.B.S. in Medicine and Surgery with honors from Kasr Al Aini, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2010, followed by an M.Sc. in General Surgery in 2015 and an M.D. in Pediatric Surgery in 2019.
Dr. Khedr has extensive experience in pediatric and hepatobiliary surgery. Since 2022, he has been serving as a Consultant of Hepatobiliary Surgery and a member of the Liver Transplantation Team at Kasr Al Ainy Liver Transplant Unit. He previously trained and worked as a Resident at the National Cancer Institute (2012–2015), Senior Registrar in Pediatric Surgical Oncology at 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital (2015–2018), and Assistant Lecturer of Pediatric Surgery at Cairo University (2016–2019).
With over a decade of surgical expertise, Dr. Khedr has played a key role in advancing pediatric, hepatobiliary, and transplant surgery in Egypt, combining academic teaching with advanced clinical practice.
