Dr. Sheren Abd El Salam is a consultant pediatric cardiologist and Head of the Pediatric Cardiology Department at Al Nas Hospital. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of congenital and acquired heart diseases in children, with extensive international training and leadership experience.
She graduated from Assiut University Medical School in 2001 and obtained her Master’s degree in Cardiology in 2006. She later received medical degree homologation in Spain (2009) and earned the MRCP (UK) in 2014. Her advanced training includes fellowships in cardiac catheter interventions in Spain, pediatric cardiology at Sainte-Justine Hospital in Canada, and specialized pediatric cardiac training at the Aswan Heart Centre under the Magdi Yacoub Foundation.
Dr. Sheren has held senior roles at Assiut University Hospitals, Aswan Heart Centre, and Magdi Yacoub Hospital, where she served as Head of Pediatric Cardiology. Since 2018, she has been leading the Pediatric Cardiology Department at Al Nas Hospital.
