Dr. Ahmed Adel Elamragy is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Cairo University and currently Head of the Adult Cardiology Department at Al Nas Hospital, where he also previously served as Medical Director. He is a member of the Egyptian and European Societies of Cardiology and has held senior leadership roles, including Director of Cardiac Catheterization at Kasr Al Aini, Nile Badrawy, and Arab Contractors Medical Center; Director of Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging at Dar Al Fouad Hospital; and Director of the Intensive Coronary Care Unit at Arab Contractors Medical Center.
Dr. Ahmed is the Founder of the Heart Failure and Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) Program at Aswan Heart Center, a pioneering initiative in Egypt. He has organized and chaired numerous national and international cardiovascular workshops, authored many publications in leading scientific journals, and contributed to developing the Egyptian Fellowship curriculum in interventional cardiology.
With more than 20 years of experience, he is highly skilled in managing a wide spectrum of heart diseases, from acute emergencies to complex interventions. His expertise includes coronary, structural, valvular, and adult congenital interventions, and he is a certified implanter of the aortic valve via catheterization (TAVI). Dr. Ahmed is known for his commitment to prevention, innovation, and the heart team approach to ensure patients receive the most effective, guideline-based care.
