Dr. Gehad Mohamed Mostafa Mahmoud, M.D., FRCS (C-Th), MEBCTS, is a Consultant of Adult Cardiac Surgery at Al Nas Hospital and an Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery. With over 16 years of experience, he specializes in complex adult cardiac procedures including minimally invasive cardiac surgery, Ozaki aortic valve reconstruction, mitral valve repair, septal myectomy for HOCM, valve-sparing aortic root replacement, off-pump CABG, and redo cardiac surgery.
He earned his M.D. in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Cairo University, FRCS (C-Th) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, MEBCTS from the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery, MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, and holds both a Master’s in General Surgery and MB BCh from Beni Suef University. His career spans leading institutions in Egypt and the UK, including Basildon University Hospital, University Hospital of Wales, Beni Suef University Hospital, and currently Al Nas Hospital.
