Dr. Hany Hagag Ahmed Mohamed is a Lecturer and Consultant of Internal Medicine, Hepatology, and Gastroenterology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He holds an M.D. in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Hepatology and Gastroenterology (2020), an M.Sc. in Internal Medicine (2015), and an M.B.B.Ch. with honors from Cairo University (2009).
Dr. Hany has more than a decade of clinical and academic experience. He trained as a House Officer in 2009, then served as an Internal Medicine Resident at Kasr Al Ainy Hospital (2011–2015), gaining extensive experience in emergency and intensive care. He went on to become a Specialist and Assistant Lecturer at the Hepato-Gastroenterology Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University (2015–2020).
He also worked in the Emergency Department and Hepatology ICU at Kasr Al Ainy French Hospital for five years. Since 2015, he has been actively practicing endoscopy at El Ebrashi GIT Endoscopy Unit, Cairo University, and the French Hospital. Alongside his university work, Dr. Hany has contributed his expertise to several private hospitals and clinics.
