Biography
Dr. Nashwa El-khazragy, MD, is the head of the Skin Culture Laboratory & Skin Bank, Al Nas Hospital.
She is Professor of clinical pathology (hematology) and head of the Proteomics and Metabolomics Research Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams Research Institute (MASRI), Ain Shams University.
Dr. El-Khazragy obtained her doctorate degree in laboratory hematology from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.
She has extensive expertise in medical laboratory quality management, accreditation and auditing, with substantial experience in implementing and evaluating compliance with international standards, including ISO 14644-1, ISO 19011, CAP, and ISO 15189.
Dr. El-Khazragy has authored over 120 research articles and served as an editor and reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals. Her areas of expertise include Stem cell culture, regenerative medicine, CRISPR-Cas9, T- cell engineering (CAR T ), gene editing, and cancer biology.
