Mamdouh Abbas is a prominent Egyptian business leader with extensive experience in investment, corporate governance, and diversified industries, including energy, real estate, and information technology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University and began his professional career in international trade before founding his first company in 1980. Mr. Abbas is a founding partner of Intro Group, a diversified holding company operating across energy, oil and gas, and real estate, and has held board and executive roles in several major corporations, including ADES (Advanced Petroleum Services), Compass Capital, and Rameda Pharmaceuticals. He is also an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt. Hatem El Molla is an executive leader and investment professional with over 24 years of extensive experience in management, economics, finance, and marketing. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, gap analysis, and private equity investments, significantly contributing to revenue growth and value creation within the organizations he has served. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Al Nas Hospital in Shubra El Kheima since September 2022, where he oversees all high-level operations and resources, sets strategic objectives, and ensures the hospital’s overall success. His role includes fostering a culture that promotes employee engagement and adaptability, managing executive performance, and representing the hospital in public forums. Previously, Hatem co-founded International Meat Capital and led the company as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director from July 2019 to September 2022. He directed the establishment of a large-scale integrated project that included quarantine facilities, farms, and an automated slaughterhouse. He managed project execution, financial modeling, infrastructure development, and international contracting to meet market demands. Hatem’s strategic capabilities were also evident during his tenure at Intro Group as Director of Investments and Operations, where he spearheaded the development of the largest children’s hospital in the region, in addition to other projects across multiple sectors including oil and gas, real estate, and healthcare. Earlier in his career, Hatem held key positions at Shell Lubricants Egypt, excelling as Sales Manager, Regional Sales/Distributor Manager, and Direct Marketing Manager. In addition to his executive roles, Hatem served as an Investment Consultant at Archer Consulting, where he provided specialized advisory services in feasibility studies, valuation reports, and capital structuring. Academically, Hatem holds an MBA from Maastricht School of Management and completed a Private Equity Masterclass at London Business School. Dr. Maged Osman is a distinguished Egyptian statistician, public policy expert, and academic leader. He is a Professor of Statistics at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, and currently serves as Director of the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera). His work focuses on the application of statistical analysis and data-driven approaches in areas of human development, poverty targeting, and public-sector decision-making. Dr. Osman previously led the Information and Decision Support Center of the Egyptian Cabinet, where he contributed to strengthening evidence-based governance and institutional planning. His academic background includes advanced graduate studies in Biostatistics, having earned both Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, USA, in addition to his undergraduate and graduate education at Cairo University. Dr. Osman has collaborated as an expert and advisor with a range of regional and international institutions, including UNICEF, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and the Economic Research Forum. Mr. Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour is a distinguished Egyptian business leader with extensive experience in finance, industrial development, and agro-industries. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University and a Master’s degree from the American University in Cairo (AUC), where his research focused on the role of foreign investment in economic development. Mr. Abdel Nour began his professional career in the banking and financial services sector, holding senior leadership roles with Banque de l’Union Européenne and American Express International Banking Corporation in Egypt. He later founded the Egyptian Finance Company and established the Egyptian-French Company for Agro-Industries (Vitrac), which became a leading name in the regional food and manufacturing sector. He has served on the boards of several prominent institutions, including the Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchange and the Federation of Egyptian Industries, contributing to the advancement of private-sector development and institutional governance. Counselor Magdy El-Agaty is a distinguished Egyptian legal authority and senior judicial leader, serving as a Member of the Supreme Advisory Board at Al Nas Hospital. He previously held the position of Deputy President of the State Council (Majlis Al-Dawla) and has extensive experience in judicial leadership and legislative development. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from Cairo University (1969), followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Administrative Sciences (1970). He also completed advanced professional training at the International Institute of Administration in Paris, France (1975). Counselor El-Agaty began his judicial career at the State Council in 1970, progressing through successive judicial roles to become Deputy President of the State Council in 1992. Throughout his distinguished career, he served in numerous judicial and advisory capacities, including leadership roles within the Administrative Judiciary Courts, the Legislation Department of the State Council, and the General Assembly of the Departments of Fatwa and Legislation. In addition to his judicial work, Counselor El-Agaty has served as a legal advisor and arbitration authority, contributing to the resolution of complex commercial, institutional, and infrastructure matters. He was also selected as a member of a national expert legal committee responsible for legislative development, reflecting his expertise in constitutional and regulatory affairs. Dr. Adel Hassan Abdel Latif El-Adwy is a distinguished Egyptian physician and academic leader, serving as a Member of the Supreme Advisory Board at Al Nas Hospital. He is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Benha University and previously served as Minister of Health of Egypt during the government of Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab. Dr. El-Adwy earned his Bachelor of Medicine from Cairo University (1980), followed by a Master’s degree in Orthopedic Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Benha University (1984). He completed his Doctorate in Orthopedic Surgery at Benha University (1990) and was appointed Professor of Orthopedic Surgery in 2001. Throughout his academic career, he has supervised more than 300 Master’s and Doctoral theses in the field of orthopedic surgery, contributing significantly to medical education and clinical research. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. El-Adwy has held several senior administrative and leadership positions within Egypt’s healthcare system. He served as Deputy Minister of Health for Therapeutic Medicine, overseeing hospital services and the Egyptian Ambulance Authority, and later as Vice President of Benha University for Graduate Studies and Research. Dr. El-Adwy also serves as President of the Egyptian Orthopaedic Association, reflecting his leadership and standing within the national medical community. Dr. Ashraf El Araby is a distinguished Egyptian economist and public policy expert with extensive experience in economic planning, institutional development, and sustainable growth strategies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree (1992) and Master’s degree (1997) in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, and earned his PhD in Economics from Kansas State University (2004), where he received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award in the Department of Economics. Dr. El Araby began his professional career at the National Planning Institute, where he served as an Economic Expert. He later held senior advisory and technical roles supporting national economic planning, institutional reform, and development strategy, and also worked as an economic expert at the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait. In addition to his executive roles, Dr. El Araby has made significant academic and research contributions in areas including human development, labor markets, inflation policy, and economic competitiveness. He also contributed to the preparation and editorial development of Egypt’s Human Development Report (2010). Dr. Nadia Makram Ebied is a distinguished political scientist and public leader, serving as a Member of the Supreme Advisory Board at Al Nas Hospital. She is a Professor of Political Science at the American University in Cairo and was the first woman to serve as Minister of State for Environmental Affairs in Egypt and the Arab world, a position she held for five consecutive years beginning in 1997. In addition to her academic and governmental roles, Dr. Ebied serves as Chair of the Governance and Compensation Committee at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the CIB Foundation in Egypt. Since 2004, Dr. Ebied has served as the Executive Director of the Center for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE), where she leads regional initiatives focused on sustainable development, environmental governance, and international cooperation. Earlier in her career, she held senior administrative and advisory roles with international organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for the Near East, and environmental and development research councils. Dr. Ebied has also served as a Visiting Professor at George Washington University in the United States. Mr. Mohamed Ozalp is a senior banking and corporate governance leader with over four decades of experience in the financial services sector in Egypt and internationally. In September 2024, he was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Banque du Caire, providing strategic oversight and governance leadership to the Board of Directors. He previously served as Non-Executive Chairman of the United Bank and as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BLOM Bank Egypt. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ozalp spent more than two decades at Misr International Bank, where he advanced to senior executive leadership roles and served as a member of the Executive Committee. He has held board and advisory positions across a range of national and international institutions, including banking federations, stock exchanges, multinational companies, and business chambers, contributing to the advancement of financial governance and cross-border economic cooperation. Mr. Ozalp holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from the United States and has completed advanced executive training programs in international banking. Eng. Sherif Mohamed Abdelaziz Habib is a senior civil engineering and public administration leader, who served as Governor of Beni Suef beginning in December 2015. He brings extensive expertise in infrastructure development, project management, and institutional governance. Mr. Habib built a distinguished career at Arab Contractors (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.), progressing through executive leadership roles to become Vice Chairman of the Company. His professional profile reflects deep experience in large-scale project delivery, procurement systems development, and the advancement of electronic tendering and commercial platforms. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University (1977). Throughout his career, Mr. Habib has been an advocate for applied education and professional development, emphasizing the importance of linking academic learning with practical, technology-driven implementation to meet the demands of modern development. Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab is a distinguished Egyptian engineering leader and public service figure, currently serving as Chairman of the Supreme Advisory Board at Al Nas Hospital. He previously held senior national leadership roles, including serving as Prime Minister of Egypt, where he contributed to advancing infrastructure development, institutional efficiency, and public service delivery. Eng. Mahlab holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University (1972) and has built a highly accomplished career in the engineering and construction sector spanning several decades. He began his professional journey at Arab Contractors (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.) in 1972, progressing through technical and executive leadership roles to become Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Naglaa El Ahwany is a distinguished Egyptian economist and academic leader who served as Minister of International Cooperation during a national cabinet tenure. She is a Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, with a longstanding academic career focused on economic research, higher education, and institutional development. Dr. El Ahwany has held senior academic and governance roles, including serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the French University in Egypt and contributing to the work of the Supreme Council of Universities. During her tenure as Minister, Dr. El Ahwany represented Egypt before major international and regional financial institutions, including the World Bank, African Development Bank, European Investment Bank, Islamic Development Bank, and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, supporting international development cooperation and strategic partnerships. Her professional background includes leadership roles as Lead Economist and Deputy Director at the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies and Director of the European Studies Center at Cairo University. Dr. Maya Morsy is a distinguished public policy specialist and development leader with extensive experience in gender equality, economic empowerment, and institutional governance at national and international levels. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the American University in Cairo, an MBA from City University of Seattle, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She earned her PhD in Public Policy from the Institute of Arab Research and Studies in Cairo, with a focus on social development and women’s empowerment. Dr. Morsy has held senior leadership roles with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), serving as Regional Gender Team Leader for the Arab Region and Country Programme Manager in Egypt. Her work has focused on advancing inclusive policies, strengthening institutional frameworks, and promoting women’s participation in economic and social development. She has represented Egypt in multiple international forums and contributed to global initiatives addressing women’s economic empowerment, social inclusion, and sustainable development.
