Dr. Rania Hassan, MD
Head of Burn ICU – AlNas Hospital
Dr. Rania Hassan is a consultant anesthesiologist and intensive care specialist with a subspecialty in pain management for burn patients. She currently serves as Head of the Burn ICU at AlNas Hospital.
She earned her MBBCh from Ain Shams University in 2001, followed by a Master’s degree in Anesthesia, Intensive Care, and Pain Management in 2005, and an MD in the same specialty in 2013. Dr. Rania has extensive academic and clinical experience, serving as a Lecturer of Anesthesia, Intensive Care, and Pain Management at Ain Shams University, as well as a Lecturer of Intensive Care at the Armed Forces Faculty of Medicine (2019–2025).
Her leadership roles include Head of El Galaa Burn ICU (2014–2025) and Consultant of Burn ICU at Ahl Masr Hospital (2024–2025). With over two decades of experience, she has dedicated her career to advancing burn intensive care, anesthesia, and pain management.
