Dr. Marolla Maher Eskander Mikhael, PhD, MRCS, is an Associate Consultant of General Surgery, specializing in hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and liver transplantation surgery at AlNas Hospital. She has expertise in both adult and pediatric hepatobiliary and liver transplant procedures, with extensive experience in complex surgical management and multidisciplinary transplant care.

Dr. Marolla graduated from Kasr Al Ainy Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, in 2014. She obtained her Master’s degree in General Surgery from Ain Shams University in 2021, followed by Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) in 2023. She was awarded her Doctorate (PhD) in General and Laparoscopic Surgery from Ain Shams University in 2025.

She currently serves as Senior Registrar of Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplantation Surgery at AlNas Hospital and has worked as a specialist in leading liver transplantation centers, including the National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute, Nasser Institute, Air Forces Specialized Hospital, and Egypt Liver Oncology and Transplantation Clinic. Through her work with major transplant teams, she has gained advanced experience in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.
