Osama is 3 months old... yet he has spent two of those months in the hospital.
His journey began with a serious heart condition that required delicate surgery shortly after birth. While his family was hoping he was finally on the road to recovery, doctors discovered another serious condition affecting his digestive system. Osama then underwent surgery to remove part of his intestine and reconnect the remaining intestine to his stomach.
Osama comes from a family of six. His father works as a daily wage laborer, doing everything he can to provide for his son's treatment, while his mother stays by his side, praying every day to see her baby healthy again.
So far, the hospital is the only world Osama has known... but he deserves the chance to experience childhood.
