Engineer Khaled Hashem, Egypt’s Minister of Industry, visited Al Nas Hospital to review the advanced free healthcare services provided to patients and explore the latest medical, technological, and engineering equipment featured within the hospital.
The minister was welcomed by Engineer Ayman Abbas, Treasurer of Al Goud Foundation and Chairman of Al Nas Hospital’s Board of Trustees, alongside Hatem El Molla, CEO of the hospital, and Dr. Kamal Shoaib.
During the tour, the minister inspected the Intensive Care Unit, considered one of the most technologically advanced critical care departments in the Middle East, where he reviewed patient care systems and advanced treatment protocols for critical cases.
The visit also included a tour of the hospital’s radiology units, recognized among the most advanced medical imaging systems in Egypt. The minister was introduced to the sophisticated engineering capabilities and cutting-edge technologies integrated into the department and received a detailed briefing on how these innovations contribute to faster and more accurate diagnoses, ultimately enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to patients.
Engineer Khaled Hashem also met with patients, doctors, nurses, and medical staff, expressing his appreciation for their efforts in delivering free healthcare services. He additionally visited pediatric patient rooms, checking on children preparing for surgeries as well as those recovering after operations.
The minister also toured the hospital’s outpatient clinics, inpatient rooms, and child-friendly recreational facilities designed to provide psychological support for young patients throughout their treatment journey.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Minister of Industry praised the exceptional level of healthcare services provided at Al Nas Hospital, highlighting the hospital’s meticulous attention to cleanliness, sterilization, and patient safety standards, which help create a safe and comfortable treatment environment. He concluded his tour with a visit to the hospital’s newly inaugurated medical museum, which documents the history and development of medical care within the institution.
