Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD)
Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) is an advanced endoscopic procedure used to remove early tumors from the digestive system without the need for major surgery. Our program is the first in Egypt fully dedicated to ESD, and we are the most experienced team nation and international wide, with more than 200 successful procedures in the last 2 years with 95% success rate (which is comparable to the international rate). This minimally invasive technique allows doctors to remove abnormal or precancerous tissue through an endoscope, helping patients recover faster, avoid large surgical wounds, and reduce hospital stays.
