Course overview:
Pediatric cardiology field is the art of decision making. Al Nas Hospital believes it is our role in the community to teach and share experience with colleagues in the field. Pediatric cath lab Workshop will highlight different lesions which are treated in pediatric cath lab. The workshopis designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the echocardiography criteria and cath steps in different lesions . the heart team meeting for decision making process of patients with congenital heart disease. The workshop will include case discussions, echocardiography, surgery and catheter procedures in varieties of lesions including emergency ones.
Learning Objectives:
• Understanding the role of cath based procedures in Congenital heart diseases during neonatal period
• Discussing the best treatment modality for each patient.
• Understanding the use of cath in bridging some lesions and staged therapy.
• Alnas experience in complex lesions
